BBC Two 2018 Revamp

The new look is innovative, artistic, stylish, clean and minimal. Glad they've splashed some cash. Makes all the difference to the overall appeal of the channel. The BBC One idents are for a different audience and they do their job. These idents are more my taste. Definitely will be checking out the channel more. I've ignored BBC2 for too long.

The only thing I hope will be "fixed" in future additions, is the animation "loop" being less like a ping pong gif, and more variations between ending in the "2" position.

And BBC Two still hasn't changed their Twitter profile picture. Classic.

It's like all our Christmases have come at once with the ident changes this week. Love BBC 2's refresh.

IF we get a proper whole scale upgrade of BBC1 and overhaul of its programme that would be like winning the lottery..

Very very nice - really is doing exactly what the 2s did in 1991, and that is what a rebrand should be doing.

Promo design is interesting too - significant improvement on before but not 100% sold on using the idents in that way - some work better than others.

I see mistakes in that article. One of the new BBC2 idents is captioned as a historic one. And they talk about Channel 4 idents at the end, instead of the subchannels - Channel 4 itself hasn't even changed!

I finally got round to watching the recording I made last night so I could see the new look as it was broadcast. I gotta admit... The new batch just makes me smile.
