Really?! I must be really unlucky when I tune in then. I only ever seem to see Network idents on BBC Two Scotland, or, occasionally, the BBC Two Scotland version of 'Seascape'.

You've got that right! When I watch BBC Two, the only two idents I ever see are Zoetrope or Sunroof. It's as if they have no other idents...

i dont mind zoetrope, but sunroof was always the weakest of the set imo, dont know why it is used so much.

I've seen plenty of Seascape, Cappuccino, Zoetrope and the mirror one on BBC Scotland but only rarely seen Chase ( any version ) or Tent.
The junction into 6pm had the " box " with BBC Two Alba in it. ( And it was Seascape! )

Nasty stereo 'fluttering' of the music (for want of a better word) on the network ident just a moment ago, before the anno came in. Never heard that before, sounded like an audio cable was loose...

These don't look too good do they? I mean the BBC caption should be on the bottom left if anything, also if they're going to drop idents surely they'll add new ones.

Unless their plan is to ruin the "credibility" of the "2" so that they can ditch it & bring in something else? Shocked

On these idents ,the BBC logo looks completely out of place in the bottom right or the bottom left

It should be placed where it was before, bottom centre.

The way these idents were shot, the 2 is off centre to make way for the box which may/may not be on the way out, so even having the logo in the centre may look a bit weird - saying that, I do agree with you that it looks awful on the right and having a random ¦B¦B¦C¦ logo on the left wouldn't look quite right either...

Well that was arguably the shortest refresh in history - one outing! A completely stupid change IMO. As others have mentioned, the idents were clearly designed with a space bottom left and no other channel has the BBC on its own. Who knows how the cross channel promotion logo would have looked...

Glad that the powers that be seem to be giving it a bit more thought.

what was that just before the restaurant? weird trail or ident? (althouh before the restaurant special ident) for bbc 2, man walked out of his front door, looked through a small 2 into a weird cgi world. any caps?

Sounds familiar...if it's what I'm thinking of, it's a trail.

i know there were those heroes trails along the same theme a while back, but this was different.
