It seems the evening broadcasts will not be in the new building? Does this mean the two Annas and overnights stay at the old News Centre for foreseeable or are they not gonna move at all??

Evenings from 2100 and overnights will be in the old Sky News Centre for now.

Why must they use two studios if the new one is up and running, what is the purpose for using the old one?

I wish they would bring back the voice at the top of the hour.

Because Sky Studios won't be ready until some time in the first half of next year and broadcasting from the glass box 24/7 would result in the showing of an emptied building with dark skies outside... or "Daybreak v1 without the water". In any case, I think everyone will be more-than-impressed by both of the new spaces.

I'm slightly confused will the glass box be in use for a while before they finish the remaining studio facilities?

That's correct!

So initially on weekdays it will be:

0600-1000: Sky Central (aka glass box)
1000-1100: Millbank
1100-1830: Glass box
1830-2100: Millbank
2100-0600: Sky News Centre

Then when everything is complete...

0600-1000: Sky Central (aka glass box)
1000-1100: Millbank
1100-1830: Glass box
1830-2100: Millbank
2100-0600: Sky Studios

Quick question for those in the know (sorry of I've missed this previously).

Will the Millbank set be getting a refresh to match the new on-screen look?

Sorry but as I don't know much about Sky News, is Millbank the Sky news tonight studio?

Yes Millbank is their Westminster studio located in the same building as the BBC's. It does indeed house Sky News Tonight, Murnaghan, Week in Review (and possibly Ian King Live)

Yes, Ian King also comes from Millbank after moving from The Gherkin.
