I like the way they go to a break now. Theme plays and a coming up strap appears, much cleaner and polished compared to the presenter being cut off as they say whats next.

Agreed. Much cleaner - and it doesn't matter if they crash out by accident in the way they used to at times.

I disagree. For all the 'coming up' segments (20 past, half past etc.) the presenter does not introduce the sequence. Granted that can work well at 56 past the hour but for the other coming up sequences it comes across very strange when the presenter doesn't announce what's coming up.

Press Preview and the first sight (I've seen) of the 'normal' ticker.

What on earth was that just now on the Coming Up Sequence for the part about the polls
That superimposed clock, and pound logo, it looked like something from the 90s graphic wise.
Also it's weird to advertising coming up going into a press preview break, when after the break it's going to not feature that?

No voice of God at midnight or 1am so looks like he's gone. The TOTH is quite boring now just a sky news logo on a white background. a shot of the website on a white background. a shot of a tablet screen on a white background. a shot of an iPhone screen on a white background. shutters open after the top stories and straight into it. The TOTH used to feel like an event here we go again type thing.
I'm a fan of the 2 line text strap returning and it looks nice with the 2 boxes but think 3 will look a bit messy if they do what the pic earlier in this thread suggests. It either means squishing or resizing text like we see on the vidiprinter or having much less text
Agree with above posts about it feeling odd showing what's coming up with no voice over and the on mobile now bit. I was hoping they would have a proper tease into the break like they used to have years ago rather than just cutting off dead.
Interesting decision to go from graphics that take up the minimum space needed for full length.
