Ask Mishal to take that tacky logo from the back of the laptop! It's too big. No?

It is really dreadful, isn't it!

It looks like they've just taken one of those BBC World News coasters/placemats (to the right of the laptop) and stuck it on the laptop.

CONFUSED! how many News studios are there at the Olympics site in total...

Think there are four different areas:

The first one is the national news one as can be seen above - with a desk.

Second one is for the news channel - with red swivel chairs and a small coffee table.

Third one is the BBC World News/BBC London studio with the sofa. World are kicked out of this studio for BBC London bulletins.

Fourth and final one is the other sofa studio, with the view that isn't quite as good - seems to be used as the backup used when BBC London are on air.

Thanks for that. Which set with Olympic Breakfast come from?

Sorry, got to correct that!
There are two glass box studios on top of Lund Point. Studio A is the one on the right, and has so far today been seen on Breakfast, the News Channel, and the One O'Clock News. When I visited, there was only one table there and a lot of chairs - I have a suspicion that the desk has (prepare yourself) a top that moves up and down. This means that it can be used as a coffee table, or as a proper desk, and they just need to swap the chairs to match.

Studio B is the one with the sofa which World have been using all morning. BBC London will use this for their evening bulletin. I don't know when their first transmission will be.

The weather stand-up position is the one in between.

There are a handful of other stand-up positions on the floors below. They're pretty much indistinguishable from each other.

World's "other" sofa set is at Ironworks, in Hackney Wick.

Thanks for that. Which set with Olympic Breakfast come from?

none of the above Smile

Does Olympic Breakfast come from the main BBC1 studio or the BBC3 studio?

Sue Thearle has just finished her sport round up on World and handed back to Mishal Husain. The lighting in Mishal's studio is remarkably duller, compared to the studio that Sue was in.

Maybe sunlight disadvantage at this time of the day.

And, as if by magic, Mishal has moved outdoors into the relative sunshine for the next bulletin, being 4pm LON time.
