Geoff Clarke is out and about live from Wembley today. Beverley Thompson is left in the studio on her own as Geoff has taken Caddy Lee Preston with him.

Chrissie Has Left?
I've no idea about whether she's working there FT but it was a slight surprise to see her on BBC SE this week , partly as I've only seen her on ITV till now and partly as this lot have plenty of reporters already.
Anyway her appearance on SET did give me one of the more unusual sights for this staid tv news. A 100 pound UXB from WW2 was found in Bexhill and was made safe with a controlled explosion. A barefoot Chrissie was seen walking around the fairly big crater.
She found out that the bomb was one of a pair . The other bomb exploded caused a fatality and to my surprise she found and interviewed a relative of the man who was killed by the explosion.
I see former ITV Weathergirl Chrissie Reidy is now reporting for BBC South East Today (how random is that?)

Shame to let big Geoff go after all these years but in all fairness I don't think they've both been in good health for many years now. Perhaps the workload is too much?
