Also I had no idea how most seem to dislike Ian Axton and Segnetta etc. They seem quite competant but Ian does come out with some daft things some times. Fred Dinage is very much the same. I think it's good to be cheery IMO...

Does anyone 'in the know' know...when ITV plan to go true 16:9 with thier news / local news ? There are plans apparently later this year


Yes, 16x9 at the end of the year. Then you can enjoy viewing all those lovely presenters you love and adore in widescreen. Won't that be a treat??!!

Oooh being a bit sarcky there are we ?! I don't know about love and adore ??!! Ian and Sangweeta (spelling?) their fine IMO. You have to compare presenting with many years ago very dull and serious, now confident and happy, dificult to be so though with a lot of the news items

Well they seem likeable which is good I think, natural then again most of us are very good actors
