Do they usually have someone alongside Rob if Ellie is off? Lynda Hardy was on Breakfast & Marcela Wittongdale was on late so they could have used one of them

I haven't seen Marcella present the main edition... yet. I am sure it won't be long before she does. She was always a pro at Meridian - great to see her back on screen years later.

They certainly did solo headed main bulletins during the Rob and Polly era as well.

That might explain it as i think Ellie did one of the weekend bulletins
