Those look good for those that are one (wo)man banding it but doesn’t look comfortable if your a photojournalist with it over your shoulder. The only UHD thinks I see these being used for are for promotional purposes (do the ITV regions do news promos like they are done in the US) or commercial production (do they do that as well?).

Ashna Hurynag is leaving ITV regional news

Nitya Rajan from ITV News Central appears to be Ashna's replacement.

Who wrote the scripts for last night's news at ten? Alastair Stewart was falling over every other sentence, and half of what he did say was either embellishment, out of date or irrelevant. It was a bit embarrassing watching rather than informative.

They've upgraded their small cameras to the more recent model - which happens to do 4K rather than them actually shooting 4k. That would be the sort of camera journalists take out themselves and self-shoot.

BBC have trialled the Z280 as the replacement to the XM350 and they're quite a nice bit of kit and use SxS cards which suit the full broadcast PMW500 workflow.

It will be interesting to see who does it tomorrow if Kylie Pentelow hasn’t recovered from laryngitis

Quite lengthy bulletins scheduled tomorrow - 20 minutes both for the evening and late edition. Don't think there is anything at lunchtime though.

I suppose it seems a lot, but by the time the weather and adverts are the end is added in we are looking at... 14minutes? Probably one report focusing on the queens speech and another on Sandringham goings on which doesn’t leave time for many other reports

ITV opting for an ‘evening’ and ‘late’ bulletin. The BBC have no ‘Evening’ news but have lunchtime and late bulletins plus breakfast 6-9.
