That's a shame, it's been good while Suzie has been away.

Amelia apologised in the second half of the bulletin for the problems.
Suzie Fowler-Watt presented the 90 second update this evening and will be reading the late news. I believe she returns to our screens in February.

I expected her to be away for much longer, maybe Alex Dunlop will be taking some time off?

Sara Thornton from BBC Weather hub presenting the weather forecast for the 6:30 edition, Jim Bacon presented in studio yesterday.
A very strange week, Susie back with no welcome back or anything, Amelia assumingly now on Maternity with no mention and no Julie or Alex with the weather.

Very odd as there are two other Weatherquest relief presenters, Phil Garner and Chris Bell who have continued to appear since they lost the contract.

On Facebook, what happened to on the programme, well after tonights opening, to me it comes across that someone different is in charge.
The opening was a second or two off the mark so we heard BBC London titles play before crashing back to Look East sting titles, then Stuart & Susie started with the opening but was interrupted by another play of the titles.
Minor error but Alex was back for the weather but didn't put a space between her first and second name.

Peter Cockroft with a recorded weather for tonights programme they seem to have left plenty of time either side, I get a feeling they were not sure how long it was maybe, but im sure that that's unlikely

Noticed that with the graphics tweak Look East's Cambridge studio are using the animated version, whereas the Norwich studio graphics are static. I'm guessing this is due to the Cambridge studio being newer and having the more modern system.
One problem of Norwich having the older system is that during Breakfast their clock is slightly larger and partially blocks the weather time/date graphic.

I believe Norwich still use Aston, whereas the new BBC Cambridge studios use VizRT.
