I seem to recall Ben Bland did overnight in Millbank a few months back. I'm sure someone has screengrabs and video somewhere.

Are you referring to this?
(youtube video)
That's the one. I assumed it was some sort of rehearsal for exactly the situation the BBC were in last week. Looked better this time.

The way the lights came up at the same time the graphics on the screens changed is suspicious - lighting cue at the wrong point in the Mosart playlist perhaps?

Appears the system broke down again. They switched back to ENPS and a short time later OpenMedia was up and running again to all’s chagrin.

Was this TV and radio or just World Service radio?

I’m not sure.

Well, that’s a radio running order, and it sounds like it was a short outage. Radio are currently in the process of switching to openmedia and the old system is still running in tandem for them AIUI.

That's a radio running order though - so likely to be on a different OpenMedia server to the various TV services (themselves on different servers to each other).

I suspect that's a World Service radio R/O - and as deejay has said - they can still dual run in Radio as they are still in the process of switching (Domestic TV and BBC World News TV in London have switched fully I believe - but I don't know about the language TV services)

BBC World News (with Duncan Golestani) currently airing a “Recorded” Bulletin from the last hour.

They’re showing the 4am London Bulletin again at 5am.

What’s gone wrong now??
