Global cameras are manually operated and not on Furio Tracks, IIRC. Studio B.

Ben can’t move because of the cameras. Usually the sport and weather updates come from the catwalk. I would imagine the failure means it’s very simple bulletins.

Is A furio operated? I wonder if BBC World News could use the studio if C is having issues and B is occupied.

A is an AR/green screen based studio, so a computer most likely moves the cameras there, even though they are "free moving" and not on furio tracks. They might be "manuallly movable" by humans if needed though.

That recorded graphic isn’t great, it’s a little bit obstructing.

That's surely the point of it, isn't it? It needs to be really obvious it's recorded.

Seems like NC gallery is manually controlling the cameras for now, since the shot of Helen from behind Ben was quite zoomed out than normal. At least the sidewalk can be used!

Notice the lack of business news this hour. I wonder why this is? They seem to be doing their best to fill time with Brexit news.

Considering they supposedly made preparations to come from Millbank if NBH couldn't get back on air its possible that the business presenter (Maryam Moshiri) was dispatched over there as a contingency.

We should have had a wager going on when this would happen.

Since Mozart and AutoScript (I think that’s what generates the prompter) all preload a show and check for updates through out - is it possible that a show already on the air could continue to run normally?

Looks like the systems back down. Global is airing with the recorded banner.
