BBC North West Tonight

Nope doesn't look like there moving today, I think it is next Monday now, but like you have said, they have special reports this week on old BH.

If anyone hasn't seen a shot of the studio it can be seen in the Breafast thread although its not the best picture!

It's not the best looking studio in the country is it, very backwards, very tight.

And Midlands Today reckon they got the shoebox?

I think we need to wait and see the set properly dressed and lit. If those light boxes/panels are anything like those in the BBC Sport studio, then the effect could be quite good.

I know the lighting in regional news doesn't change much once set, but I'm sure coming from Studio-B at NBH there will be those who remember motorised lighting barrels with much affection once they've had to get the ladders out for every tweak they inevitably have to make. I know there are those at The Mailbox who hate their scaffold lighting grid.

Did you all see the look ranvia gave the camera tonight before they went to Dianne? she certainly does not like Roger and its plainly obviouys. It was like don't you ever talk to me and get as far away from me as possible look.

Just watched it to catch the Oxford Road feature but didn't see the look she gave. I'll have to watch it online as I've changed channels now.

It was weird seeing Gordon back so soon. The report was actually very good by the way.

Oops, they've just played out the third part at the wrong part, before rewinding to a bit that I don't think was exactly the beginning, but just after it.

NWT says on Facebook that today is the penultimate day at Oxford Road. What will be happening during the weekend then?

I doubt they won't be in the usual studio. They're probably just referring to the usual programme.
