His last ever NWT is on Friday the 30th of September.

That's why 'My Favourite Joke' is scheduled elsewhere at 1025 then.

They make it sound as if Manchester is the other side of the world! Glad to say that NWT is far better than South Today. Better style of presentation but seems much more friendly and laid-back, much more banter time because it seems relatively quieter.

It should have made it clear that NWT, although in Manchester, also serves the whole of the North West region. It came across that way IMO.

No need to make it clear, they aren't trying to promote the programme, just explaining what Roger will be off doing next.

Is Roger starting immediately after Gordon leaves, i.e. 3rd October, or will he wait until they move to Salford later in the month?

I don't think anything has been said of yet. I can't really think which would be the most suitable.

I'd have thought it would be more logical to get the new team in place before the move so you don't have all the on-screen change at once, that was why I thought Gordon was leaving a couple of months before it?
