I take it Tim has taken over from Clive at the airport then?

Reeta did Her first Weekday Six back on June 24th however if she does The Ten tonight it will be her first on a weeknight. I'm guessing that Huw, Sophie and Fiona (and Probably Jane as well.) may well all be in Glasgow ready for the Commonwealth Games on Wednesday, which leads me to a question-Will they be doing the bulletins from Glasgow from Wednesday onwards?

She has done the:

Tim is in Kiev. Not Amsterdam Schiphol (Airport).

Sorry. Struggling with your first paragraph. 29 years since?

I'm very surprised Reeta's presenting so often, and now on high profile bulletins, after next to no time at all. Especially as (at least in my opinion) she's really very rubbish at newsreading.

Tonight's Six/Ten for example - why not Matthew Amroliwala, Simon McCoy, Emily Maitlis, Nicholas Owen, all more experienced and familiar names? Even at the weekend and for the News At One, why not other experienced presenters like Martine Croxall, Joanna Gosling, Sophie Long, Julian Worricker to name a few?

I agree with you.

Also, I'm not keen on Ben Brown as an interviewer. Asking the relative of a passenger on MH17 whether any of the family would be going to see where the plane came down was a bit crass.

And if it weren't for the fact that Jane Hill is in Glasgow, i'm sure she should have been next in line (after Fiona Bruce and Sophie Raworth) at least until George Alagiah is back.

Reeta Chakrabarti was sitting in the Six/Ten presenter seat in the newsroom, at the 3 o'clock TOTH. This could be interesting and see how she does

Did she get up to go to the toilet at any point during this?

It seems very odd to have RC doing so many bulletins while BBC News is lookkng to cut back presenters. As people have already said, there have been many qualified presenters already in place for a number of years.
