Had a feeling he might be. Typical Friday for him. Do an early shift on the news channel, head over the world for the evening and then head back to the news channel for the late shift.

I quite liked the pairing today with Martine. Found them quite amusing when they were watching pictures of North Korea and Martine said that her translation skills weren't quite up to this. Tim then said, oh we were relying on you Martine to do the translation.

I would like to see more of those two together.

Except from the fact that if he does the early shift on the Friday (which he often does!) he doesn't do the late shift. Even by his standards, entering work at 8am and leaving about half past midnight is a bit much.

Yeah, he probably won't do the late shift- but that man is invincible. He could do it if he wanted to.

The normal fill in, Adam Parsons, has already been on today as well. However, it's not inconceivable that he will also do a double shift.

Otherwise: Chris Rogers or Gavin Grey?

It'll no doubt be Chris Rogers, he's the usual Friday cover.

I'm pretty sure this thread is about 50% talking about Tim covering lots of shifts... I know this thread isn't the most interesting to a lot of TV Forum members but don't we all know Tim works lots of shifts by now?

Ben Thompson (on his 2nd shift of the day) has tweeted that Adam parsons will be back at 1030 with his 2nd shift of the day. He goes on to say "tune in to see if we're still awake"

Good to see that two amazing, affable and charismatic rising stars will be on at the same shift as each other after 10.30pm. Second shift of the day for them both? They're just doing a Tim, aren't they?!

EDIT. And Adam's still very awake indeed. A sound level of banter between himself and Sophie Raworth at the end of the Ten.
