Yeah! I saw that new Breaking News Graphic too. Somehow it looks a little American to me, though.

Why are the BBC refusing to even acknowledge the London beheading story in their evening broadcasts?

Surely that's more of a local news story, though? It doesn't really have national interest - there are always murder stories on North West Today/Tonight and most of them don't make the national news. Especially when there are much more important national and international stories as there are at present.

It was covered by the Radio 2 6pm news

It was actually covered on the Six O'Clock News

To be fair They have had both the Nato summit in Wales and the current breaking news about Joan Rivers going on as well.

I couldn't really think of which thread to post this in, but thought it interesting to share

The Palestine/Israeli complaints are interesting, and actually to my mind confirm that the Beeb have
struck a very difficult balance, pretty well (as much as any news outlet could).
