Didn't know where to post this but BBC Breakfast did a 360° behind the scenes video. I'm on my iPad and could only get it to work fully in the YouTube app either by moving the device or using your finger to move the angle. If you open it up outside YouTube app (at least on my iPad on both the mobile version and when you open the "desktop" version of the site) you get a panoramic version of the video where say the camera jib may appear on both sides of the screen. I imagine it works the way it was intended on a regular computer.

It was posted yesterday in the BBC Breakfast thread Wink

I think the time difference screws me up. I look for a post within the certain time frame and I didn't see it.

Not the first time he's done that...

What are the big white cupboards in the Newsroom on the main floor which people seem to walk into.. remind me of photo booths... which are on the grond floor and you see them from the balcony shots? Maybe there's only one?! I've always wondered.

Suppose you're talking about these, marked in white? I would've thought its just where stationary is stored. They also look like lockers?
Unless you're talking about the tall booth, marked in red? There are two of these, one at each end of the newsroom - and I believe they are little meeting rooms for 1 to 1s.

The ones at the back are "pods" areas designed with some sound isolation for recording or private conversation. The ones closer to camera are filing cabinets...

Filming cabinets? You mean filing cabinets or cubbies for the poor soles who hot desk.

Some of those pods I think come in larger sizes and I think they would also be perfect for an insert studio. Put a PTZ camera (or a regular one) at one end and a green screen or monitor at the other and a chair in the middle and boom you got a studio.

It's definately the pods at the back I was curious about Smile Thank you.

(This is my first post here, so apologies if it's in the wrong thread, or misses the mark in any way.)

Did anyone else see this clip of Martine Croxall 'reprimanding' Olly Foster after the sports news over ran by 40 seconds? I like her use of wit on The Papers, and thought she did a great job with the coverage of the Paris attacks, but I think she went a bit far here, and got the tone wrong. I was really surprised by it. What did other people think?

It's just jokey banter. Martine is known for her quirky way of handling errors or over-running. Think Simon McCoy who also does similar.
