Odd opening to 0900 Julian Warricker in E with a news channel only opening, the non newsroom titles ran and they went straight back to Carrie and Nik in Studio C
0922 we breakaway from World news for Flood coverage, Julian in E, Chris Eakin in Great Yarmouth and Ben Brown also on location.

It seems BBCNC is doing what BBCWN usually do... now they are the ones that break away from the main bulletin..
I guess Jane Hill is for World viewers in the meantime... hehe. Very Happy

I really don't understand why bbc one and bbc news have to both cover breakfast surely no one is watching the bbc news simulcast normal people will just watch it on bbc one as it also has the local news, bbc news should just simulcast bbc world.

It's cheaper. BBC World News would probably want money if their morning output were routinely being broadcast on the News Channel

I often watch it on BBC News, because it means that whatever time I wake up, there will be news on.

The 5 is not a similcast, BBC World News are in Studio B from 1200 to 1830 British time every weekday. GMT, Impact, Global, World Have Your Say and any BBC World News bulletins between those two times all come from Studio B. This keeps Studio C free for maintenance or if any correspondents wish to use the walkway screens for a statistics report or indeed Hard Talk recordings most recently and of course for the 5.
