It's an error. Teething problems getting use to using Mosart and VizRT for lower thirds. They used Aston in the old studio.
As the London gallery gets upgraded, will they transition to Mosart and VizRT? I know one insider (sorry, I forget who) said they expected the gallery to be more closely aligned to the main news galleries' modern standards, but I wasn't sure how far that would go.
Also, do you think anything will ever come of previous suggestions that London's studio (and presumably set if they're sticking with the plasmas) would be one of the 'bases' that could be used by other services when London weren't using it? With careful planning (and design) I could imagine the current set being used as a plan-B for Hardtalk if Studio A wasn't available (it look a great deal better than Millbank does, though AIUI Millbank is primarily used for Hardtalk because of guest availability rather than
TVC/BH studio unavailability). Equally Meet the Author or similar interview programmes could probably make do with recording there if needed, though obviously the studio and set space (and surely facilities) is inadequate for a main service like NC, World or Arabic?
