Isnt Studio F the Studio where 'Meet the Author' comes from?

London will move in to studio A apart from the breakfast opts which will come from F.
This is until Studio D gets finished and their old gallery upgraded to HD.

Does this mean that both studio A and F will have opt control systems fitted? We've seen an image of it installed in A.

Does anyone know what D will look like? I originally heard that the current set would be moved but I later read that the old Olympic Park Desk would be put in D.

They could go like wales with the new circular studios

I don't think the desk that appeared at the Olympic park has ever appeared on screen again, so it would make sense if that ultimately became part of London's set (as suggested at the time), but if studio D isn't much bigger than their current setup, I can't imagine they'll be losing the plasma setup anytime soon.

Correct, with a few tweaks to the titles too for HD. Nothing major.

Why can't they just adopt the new look Mad

Erm ...because to do so would be expensive and they likely don't have the money to fund it.

Also it isnt really a new look, all the regions except NWT still have the same titles they did in 2008 with a few minor tweaks.

The older square sets still fit in with the current branding, so there is no reason whatsoever to waste money updating the set.

I'm just guessing, but Wales Today were probably able to afford a new set thanks to extra funding for Newyddion 9.

I was going to ask in what way London don't have the 'new look'? Very few (if any) regions will be able to adopt a circular set because of budget and studio/space limitations, hence Midlands Today has a rather pokey three-wall set. And the NWT/Breakfast set is just a series of plasma screens - similar then to London.

As far as I can tell the only thing that gives London an 'old' look is the desk, which I suspect they'll replace at the move (given that the Olympics desk was used as a coffee-style table, not just the higher position). Otherwise, London will still have a pretty new set.
