I have made tweaks to all the BBC Four images, and went with single colours for the ECPs

I have been thinking about colour schemes for the channels. And formalised those. Hoping you all have some comments on them, and the updated BBC Four graphics.

You've done well with the colour schemes. But can you explain why BBC One is orange?

Because why not? Why not be orange?

To differentiate between BBC News which also uses a red colour. I wouldn't say it's orange personally, compared to the original colour MDTA chose, it's more of a bright red.

I see. I like the fact that you're making BBC One different colour to BBC News. But are you sure orange is the best colour?

I started with a bright orange, and people didn't like it.

Then I thought I'd try a golden yellow and people commented on ITV1 etc.

So I went back to red, but rather than a cool red, which strays into the pink tones, I went with a warm red, which lightens toward orange, and the possibility of using yellow or dull brown shades, as secondary colours.

The individual channel brands are not the focus, just the shared elements from all the channels.

I understand. Are you planning to experiment a bit more with colours or other ideas?
