BBC 2020 Rebrand Project

That last one is very similar to Film 4's endboard.

Still having the same issue with this, the BBC is too big and the part underneath is too small and on smaller screens or from a distance, it just won't be recognisable or stand out enough to tell what it actually is. All you'll see if the BBC box in various colours.

That little fix has really improved the Three endboard for me. And the idea of the iPlayer transition is great too.

I agree that the last pic reminds me a lot of Film4, though it still looks great.

I've seen people here comment about the shadows being a bit too vibrant - I think I'd agree.

Maybe displace the shadow a little bit on the logo. Might give it a more "3D-ish" look.

I'd lose the shadows altogether.

Ok, here's something in this project I've been waiting for a while to do. I've done the logos for the nation-specific counterparts of BBCs One and Two. Here, I've changed the Welsh versions to "BBC One Cymru Wales" and "BBC Two Cymru Wales" to reflect on its parent department.





Speaking of local counterparts, here are the BBC One opt-outs in the English regions:

The text seems too small - I feel like it might virtually disappear when scaled down.

New concept is very coherent and uniform, but I feel like you’ve lost something vs your original concept.
Lost its modernity somewhat. Kinda 00s. Very BBC in a way.
Liked the original concept, as an out there, not gonna happen, fresh spin.

bbc 2 scotland

BBC Two in Scotland is BBC Scotland now. That channel took over that opt-out a year ago.

i know because when bbc scotland launched they copied the bbc 2 schedule so i was thinking of branding that as bbc 2 scotland
