Rob, what is your position on people typing your name in all caps, like they do with Asa as if it's some kind of acronym or something?

Zero tolerance... instant ban. Wink Wink Wink

ROB, the header images look good. Laughing

Silly question time again.

Is the "Definitions" page by the tab being at the top for things like all of the common terms that we have used on here for the last 20 years all in one place.

For Example:

PRESENTATION TERMINOLOGY
ASTON - Sometimes referred to as a name bar, this graphic is one that is on screen for about 5 seconds and usually displays a persons name and their occupation or theme for whatever the topic may be.

STUDIO TERMINOLOGY
N9 - Former BBC News Channel and later BBC World News studio based in Television Centre.
STUDIO E - Current BBC News Channel studio based in Broadcasting House.

If so maybe it could be divided into at least "Presentation" and "Studio" terminology sections at least.

Ah, that's not meant to be live yet. Wink

At the moment, it's just the current site terms page on TVF, but I do plan to edit it to split it up into Presentation and Studio listings.

Just that getting the feel of the site and having a one stop shop all of that stuff at is brilliant. And also when I clicked on the link to "definitions" I got the following anyway:

"Hello there. The TV Live Forum will launch on April 1st."

As is aparent when you click on the bits at the top.

I keep seeing posts from the other replacement forum and thinking they're about TV Live:

Sounds like we're goign to get two very similar rival sites? Do we know who's responsible for the other one yet?

As the description says "free and open debate", it almost certainly somebody who's flounced off from here. Or got kicked off/banned, whichever applies.

I think we can safely assume it isn't Tumble Tower, considering he's been busy on YouTube vlogging about Eurovision recently.

Whomever it is, they appear to be a bit of a cockwomble. Just the right temperament for running an online community of opinionated nerds.

EDIT - the throbber just tried to follow me on Twitter. Straight block. Strange, stalker behaviour.

If that's their attitude, then I have absolutely nothing to worry about...
