It tries to load it for that amount of time on my end, but eventually gives up.

Loading fine for me, and has done all day.

Looks like it's back up now

Edit: Ooh, now 'the board is unavailable' and it's changed back to a different theme with the same wider layout but with the Metropol logo present. My initial thoughts were that the old theme was just being widened but none of the background elements are there and there's a link to the Uploader in the top bar. Maybe this is just an accident, maybe this is a new theme...

Shall wait and see.

Yes so, just to clarify, this is a temporary theme you're currently seeing.

The software is the new phpBB 3.1. It includes lovely responsive templates by default which means I've somewhat had to start again.

So over the next few days things will reappear such and the header, the paper, the footer and the links to TVF but I want them all to work nicely and responsively so I'm putting a bit of effort in.

However those of you on mobiles should find the whole site a bit less rubbish to use

I loved the custom theme but making it responsive is a really useful change, even if it means Metropol temporarily losing its Metropol-iness

Would this be a good time to request that the Uploader remembers to keep you logged in when requesting to do so? The main site obviously does it but whenever I open the uploader for the first time that session it shows me logged in, but upon trying to upload a file or even refreshing shows me logged out. I can't remember if there's a button to keep you logged in and did try to check but the uploader's down.

Selecting multiple files at a time would be nice too...

you can already upload five items at a time, you just have to select them one by one then press upload.

as for the login issues, will check.

Ooh yes I know, I was just wondering if there was a simple way so you didn't have to pick one by one.

Is there any chance we will see a return of the lovely Metropoll theme that adorned the site around the time of the last election, complete with that nice version of the 1979 election titles?

I received 3 random notifications a few minutes ago, claiming that people had recently quoted me in posts. I checked said posts to find I had quoted posts that were no longer there, and that the notifications came from posts that quoted me quoting these posts.

Quickly searching for these on the Google cache, it appears all the posts are from TM. That means some classic threads about HD CCTV Cameras and asking if people would steal are now gone.

If anyone else ended up with these random notifications, hopefully that will explain it.
