Brilliant work, love the ident, really freshens up the channel. Keep up the good work, looks really promising!

I do like the ident, could be used (maybe) for The Gadget Show (you know since its a toy (but then again, it is not really a gadget))

Another quick storyboard idea using a train with different carriages the different colours, the green would be represented by the hill beneath. The ident would use close ups on the wheels, the front (terrible example of mine I haste to add) and the cart's roofs before the logo is revealed.

Please note - as these are quick storyboards I am not spending a lot of time on the quality of things, its more to give you an idea.
PATV Scunthorpe and FrancisIdents gave kudos

The only thing I would change about the train ident is the track, I looks as if it is going to go in a different direction but it reveals it is going to be a circle

OK, kind of getting the overall concept now, though idents ending with the formation of a circle sound somewhat familar, though the intended execution here seems better.

Hmm, I wonder where I have seen circles. Haha.

I wanted the focus of the design to be on the coloured circle, so it made sense to have a circular theme. Each ident would follow suit with items representing the five colours rotating around the numeral. I am struggling for what to use for a news ident; I did think of continents, but this wouldn't make sense on the end frame, unless it was viewed from the north/south pole.

PATV - I apologise for the inaccuracy, but as I said these are only rough storyboards.

I Really like this mock, think the works getting better and better, particularly loving the two graphics you've animated.

Perhaps for the News Ident you could use the 5 Main political parties, the orange would have to be more red but could represent all of the parties, and could be like the X Factor 2014 advert- but obviously less naff! Don't know what you think but with the General election this year its topical! Otherwise you could use the five news presenters to represent the different colours??

My only thinking with the people is how it would work as I can't change a human's colouring for an ident, I suppose it could be with clothes, but I'd prefer to keep it non people especially non politics. Political inspiration would be perfect for pre election but terrible for non political leading stories. If it was for a network with strong election coverage I would definitely try something.

Could a news ident just be a generic graphic based ident rather than one within the theme - the ident just forms because it's the ident, not because it's journalists going round in circles.

Haha. Yes you may have just hit the nail on the head. Thanks Brekkie!
