Looks like Kaye returns as a panelist as opposed to a host. Big mistake IMO - Andrea should be a panellist and Kaye the anchor along with Ruth.

They've moved around a bit. I think they started off in Norwich (2000):
then apparently moved to Manchester (as Live Talk, 2001)
then I THINK this is at MTV Camden (2003):
At TLS they used Studio 7 for a while with the view over the Thames:
As they were prerecording two episodes a week, a live backdrop made it difficult, so they moved to where they are now I think:
I was sure at one stage they used the same set at TLS7 as they did in the next studio but put net curtains up in its place. Possibly this one:

Didn't they use the first Daybreak studio in the beginning?

Probably because when that happens usually what happens is that the replacement rates even lower and you end up in a downward spiral, like another part if the daytime schedule on ITV
Did Today with Des & Mel rate that well to share the spot with loose women?
Nice finds whataday. I preferred live talk as a name, it was the same style show maybe a little more serious, but didn't exclude men especially from calling in.
As for the Studio 7 set it was basic with the windows and massive desk being the main focus and incredibly cramped. During pre records and possibly a bit after they used a curtain with a static image of the view.
I just don't get how this show keeps surviving - it's been really struggling in the ratings over the last couple of years and it's ever changing look and line up doesn't suggest any confidence within the show from those that make it themselves. I'd have thought axing it was a no-brainer, even if it was replaced with something remarkably similar but built around a single host instead.

You can't compare since it went 30mins later. Why can't itv just move the lunchtime news back to 12.30.

Why can't itv just move the lunchtime news back to 12.30.
I expect there is sound business logic for ITV where the news is scheduled.
ITV Daytime exists to sell airtime to advertisers wanting to reach 'hassled mums' and housewives. That is their core demographic. ITV's scheduling decisions will be based on holding on to that demographic for the longest period possible. Unlike BBC One, the news will be the weak part of the ITV daytime schedule. Coming out of This Morning into the news is a sure way to lose that core demographic who probably wouldn't bother coming back at 1pm.

But this would also mean there losing alot of its core demographic coming out of Losse woman at 1.30. BBC one does have any 00 start times after its lunchtime news. Also if the ITV went to the news at 12.30 it would put it up against Bargain hunt.

Which is why they moved the ITV News to 1.30 in the first place and why it has stayed there ever since, granted Loose Women isn't getting the ratings it once had, but from 2pm-6pm ITV are doing well, if isn't broke, why fix it?

Not really before that lunchtime news was on for one full hour 12.30 - 13.30.
