Is that the desk that was on the Barco side of N9?

If you don't mind me asking, but how much did that desk actually cost?

Dining table, Mr Bail? Or new snazzy computer desk?

Did it come with the LED under lighting that illuminates the front panel?

I also assume that's the one used for European Elections and all that jazz?

Nearly Billy, It's actually part of a new nationwide "Now the news, litterally, where you are" from the BBC.

In this case the BBC In The Garage News...

Blimey Jago design have really lost the plot haven't they - what sort of rostra is that?! Reflecting the hard post DQF times at the BBC though - that could be Midlands Today's new studio!

Hehe, well it's future is to be decided, hopefully it'll move in to our new office as a prop/memento, I did want to use it as an actual desk, but its very very tall so may not be as practical as I imagined. It does light up, but it's got a failed PAT test for that, so will investigate and see at some point.

Ah that's never good - I think you should use it as a desk in your office? Face everyone else with it lit up, have your computers beneath it! If I had an office at work I'd do that Smile

It's a good conversation starter!

Bail. That is a great piece of furniture to have.

How much was it for the old BBC News desk? Where are you going to put it in your office if the opportunity came up?

If you haven't had a post about the price now, then clearly Bail isn't willing to tell us. Leave it be Smile
