Most people would turn to the BBC anyway.

I think BBC would in fact stop Breakfast and switch to the newsroom with Simon McCoy etc..
...anyway not to take this off topic- I think GMB might do a cracking job of a big story if it happened- time will tell!
I for one find the GMB format refreshing, and it still has a while to bed in- look what eventually happened to TV-am !
