I prefer it stacked like ITV's, but smaller.

Not saying it will happen, but if the goals get over 9 how would the two digits fit on the scorecard... Surely it's not clever enough for the scorecard to widen?

Nice to see a replay wipe that reflects the tournament branding rather than soulless FIFA one they used in 2010 and possibly 2006.

Presumbly they've thought that through and either the text will get smaller or the box will get bigger. The graphics don't have a mind of their own though so someone will have had to design them. Unlikely to happen though.

ITV Studio has changed from yellow to blue for night time. Which is nice.

That's nice - ITV's just doesn't complement the official graphics at all.

What doesn't make sense is in the programme logo they've incorporated the ITV Sport logo quite nicely and subtly and I'm sure a similar approach for the scorebar would work, with the clock moved to the left of the team names and a reduced ITV Sport logo bottom right of the scorebar in a similar style to the logo.

The glass of ITV studio has been damaged by protesters.

RTE's studio has had quite a bit of a lighting change and a slight redress for the World Cup and looks so much better for it. Whoever said the graphics are the usual FIFA graphics with added green was spot on though I think the fonts changed too. The (FIFA) break stings a bit wierd.

As for ITV? Only took one glance at that scorebar and it was right back to RTE. Simply awful.

Well I know the scorebar was big but...

It might make the BBC rethink their decision on the glass effect on their graphics now.

I very much doubt that.
