Have to disagree with you.
I think it is very 1970ish deliberately seeing as the 1970 Brazillian team were so great.

The actual table's absolutely appalling!!! As is the BBC's unfortunately! They both have enormous desk tables at coffee table hight! In fact they're awfully similar- with a very similar outlook, large desks and armchairs that look awkward. Have to agree with their comments also though!
Have to agree with the comments about ITV - really liking ITV's studio, graphics and titles. Haven't seen much of BBC's yet apart from the screenshots on here so won't comment until I've seen them fully in action.

How is it awful? Those kind of chairs are always used! And it is way too informal an occasion to have a full height desk!
The views are awesome! That beautiful beach, those beautiful mountains... They're similar but you should appreciate how brilliant that view is.
