Studios are pretty much equal. If the theme was just instrumental ITV would win that one, but neither really do it for me, while the ITV titles seem to be a throwback to the early 90s. Quite underwhelming all round really.

Titles for both are underwhelming. The BBC's studio looks better to me.

Well it would. But if you compare the individual shots at any given time the ITV one works better.

So for Rio 2016's opening ceremony imagine this dragged out for 4 hours.

These World Cup Opening Ceremonies are always spectacularly awful. This one no exception. It's no Olympics.

I'm surprised ITV are bothering, don't they just normally have the presenter talking over it with the studio guests.
Put The Telly On and ASO gave kudos

I think the sound people forgot this was being televised.

I think that Nike ad should be regarded as the official opening ceremony.

That audio actually gave me a nasty headache. Reminds me of the time I fainted and bashed my head on a cupboard a few years ago.

The Olympics will be better. Nothing more to say.

I would imagine (or at least hope for god's sake) that 2016 will be a heck of a lot better than this
