Okay so I've made some changes, and added a background. I haven't used a recent set image as I cant find any without graphics.
Not 100% sure if the headlines should have a straight left edge, but Im using a circle around the GMB logo to remove the edges so I applied the same effect to the Headlines strap. Opinions much appreciated!

Looking promising.
Not a criticism but I do wonder whether they'll just opt for a clock on screen with no reference to the show name - firstly means they don't have to worry about a DOG when designing the logo, and secondly doesn't draw attention to the fact that Daybreak has failed and ITV are trying yet again.

Yeah, the regional news bulletins always do that just a simple clock

The idea for the tiles is similar to the TODAY show on NBC. The idea is that the lines will move, with headlines and appropriate images/ videos and will last around 1.5 minutes, ending with this, which will appear on the studio as a camera either focuses or pans the studio onto the presenters.
FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREAT!
