I will say it again, there is no way ITV will launch with anything looking like this. Its far to similar to what they used when Daybreak was launched first in 2010. That failed and they will be staying well away from anything that may resemble the original theme. I recon we will see something along the lines of GMA unfortunately- which will be a real shame! I just hope there isn't a news desk, and they remain on a sofa!
It needs to be a versatile set; news desk, sofa, one-on-one, open space, news headlines, weather and video wall area. Would stop a certain area of set from getting tired and boring because it in in constant use.
Yes but as headlines rather than a feature, we should really take this over to the thread in TV Home, we're starting to move away from talking about the mock.
Quite good actually, but would entertainment news be included do you think?
Probably, but get rid of the awful guy who sits with the Hollywood sign background- cannot stand him!! There is no need to have a correspondent out there, unless its the Oscars or maybe the Awards Season. BBC Breakfast is better because they look at business more etc., and seem more, dare I say it, Intellectual.
As DanielK said - news based, no newshour. Therefore it brings me back to my initial description on page 1 'Breakfast but warmer' - this could be things like having cushions on the sofa etc. - That's my ideal scenario.
