Can anyone confirm whether AJ Arabic is on com 7 mux on Freeview?

Interestingly, at the moment AJE HD is broadcasting without DOG and ticker, while AJE SD has full graphics.

Al Jazeera Arabic, now available in standard definition on Freeview channel 84 for viewers that a) have a Freeview HD receiver and b) who are in an area covered by Al Jazeera HD.

I love the dramatic ident and titles and headline sequence that Al Jazerra Arabic use, if anyone hasnt seen its basically the Al Jazerra logo coming out of the sea its a really stunning effort the English version looks pretty ordinary in comparison.

Yeah, Arabic had had a couple of new sets of graphics done English started and America launched with something similar. AJE does look very dull in comparison, there was a rebrand due a few years ago.

That said, the style of graphics used by AJA and AJUS might not suit AJE which had always had more of a British feel than middle eastern

Al Jazeera English has unveiled a graphics refresh this lunchtime.

Nothing to get excited about by the look of things, just AJ US style captions... that don't really work

But wouldn't the new lower-thirds look awkward (again?) on Al Jazeera America?

They look big and ugly. After so many years, why can't they just do a total revamp?
