I'm not sure the launch has been delayed (well not recently, they were originally meant to be in The Shard last year!). The 'live date' I was told a few months ago was the 12th.
The event last week was the official opening on the centre and showing it off to the press rather than the start of broadcasting
The tweets, that showed us sneak peeks of the Shard newsroom, and that were posted on this thread a few pages back have now been deleted from the 'Al Jazeera Network' twitter account.
