He posted on Facebook during December that he was returning to BBC Weather. Don't think it's a short of presenters, probably the BBC realising he's popular and missed by viewers. He'll be on BBC One today as well.
BBC having a shortage of weather presenters? , I only think this because Ben Rich a regional presenter now with them ,Tomasz Shnaffenaker who I believe was made redundant? they also have jay Wynne and Phil Avery back?
I know Jay and Phil have been back for a while now tho?

He was on Radio 4 just before 7 too. Which got me wondering - there are now a couple of presenters based at BH for pilots in the new weather centre, as well as occasional appearances in the studio for World. Perhaps we're seeing a few different faces a TVC as backfill while the BH migration takes place?

Tomasz back on national forecast on BBC One this lunch - first time I have seen that.
Getting excitable as usual!

He also did the 12:55hrs forecast on Radio 4, which might reinforce Mr Geek's theory.

At least it's an improvement over what it replaced.
So ITV Weather using similar but inferior graphics to the BBC - and to think in 2004 they turned down the graphics package the BBC use because they said viewers would be confused.
