In most regions, there is a special partly local programme reviewing the 'Wild Weather' of this year on BBC ONE.

Appears to consist of your main regional weather presenter(Shefali Oza in Wm's case!) going through the reasons & the effects of the weather, plus , I assume, a report by Nick Miller, that went out in all regions.

Im guessing the 'Inside Out' team had something to do with it?

The West programme went out on BBC One Wales, and strangely, BBC One Northern Ireland. Perhaps Norn Iron isn't quite ready yet for Paul Hudson.

John Hammond presented the North East programme; Hannah Bayman on reporting duty and Paul Mooney seemingly just a talking head from the fleeting glimpse I caught of it.

The North West programme seems to have reports from West Sussex.

I suspect that was the part with Nick Miller - also seen in Yorks & Lincs.

Unfortunately Ian McMillan turned up like the bad penny with a "poem" about the wild weather in Yorkshire - he is second to Dicky Bird in being professional Yorkshireman.

Looks like they were all indie productions too, if WM, SW & London were anything to go by, but different companies!

Wettest year on record, apparently. Lots of flooding around too.

Did the BBC West programme make any mention of Northern Ireland and Wales who also took it?

Who presented the weather that might help indicate which hub. Kate Kinsella was in the London hub this morning if I can remember that far back.

Yes, I know that, we all know that, so WTF do we need a pseudo regional programme to remind us !!!???

Is that the best thing the BBC English regions can come with for a non news regional programme ?
