What's happening on the breakfast show? Where is it from? and you did get to see the glass bricks quite often, but the main bit (usually at the end when the presenters need to rest theirlegs,) has always come from over by the doors, before sept.

From what I've seen it's from very close up to the TV wall (but I haven't seen a lot)

I'll get up early tommorow, I suppose it uld be from any studio or even just outside of studio 9.

Studio 9 is undergoing refurbishment this week, hence the broadcasts have been exiled to various locations around TV Centre

Anyone remember when Andy Crane and Edd the Duck did the same thing when the Broom Cupboard was being refurbished (IIRC it was being refitted for Stereo)

I didn't see that, but I guess the 'and stop there' was the director telling the presenters to stop. I remember a few months bacik that the audio from Studio 9 was heard over newsround. The presenters were swearing and saying how crap some of the CBBC programmes were!

Sounds like an urban myth to me

Swearing has quite a strict ban in studio 9, criticising the programmes is perfectly allowed though!

I used to liek studio 9. I liked it best aound 1997/8 when they used to have a bit at the end of the studio and I think you could see through tot he gallery and there was loads of TV sets sround. My fave (apart form the pre-1995 sunday morning studio) was when they first stopped using the broomcupboard. The CBBC studio has changed so many times since they axed the broomcupboard.....

The director said and stop there a minute... refering to don't move, obviously not reaising she could be heard, nobody swore over newsround that I know of, although the gallery has been know to house a few swearers. Newsround did have a live broadcast from the dome...

is this my imagination or can anyone remember the sort of futuristic little room they had in the corner of studio 9? i think it was during the richard mccourt and dominic wood era. i could never understand what that was there for! they never really used it.

The little room was a time machine, once they launched, they hardly ever used it, it went in 99ish when they did comic relief.

The new CBBC studio looks great. It's based on the bug/lava lamp kind of idea. I'm not sure but there might've even been a second storey!

I didn't see yesturdays Newsround but I seen it on the web and it looked like it had some of the new titles on it. Shame it's a bad quality and you can't download it (URL: http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/cta/progs/01/newsround/latest.ram ) anyone got any better images.
also you can get info on the new presenters: Adam and Lizzie.
