New Neighbours titles - exclusive!

Melbourne TV, what are the end credits like? Are they the same just without the little boxes and names? What is the font of the credits like? I'm full of questions!!

Its screen on Channel 10 weeknights at 6:30 and old episodes from the beginning of the series are played at 3:30pm

Those credits should screen on 15th February in the UK, according to my sources.

To be honest, I haven't actually seen the end credits.... I've been watching 7's Today Tonight...

I'll probably watch Neighbours tonight and see them for you!!

I would have put it up but it looked pretty bad compared to something that Asa would do or other on this Board.

The BBC are 3 week and 4 days behind OZ at the moment and the BBC take bank hols off and Wimbledon and Christmas to stay behind;)

BTW I like the new Credits and closing version is the same without the little pics and Names.

The bbc are Editing them because they are too Long and to get rid of Sponsorship ads

As far as I can remember from when I was in Australia the end credits are much longer than the one's we have over here - with stills of sponsers names (including Qantas) at the end before the music finishes and the end cap comes on.

One thing that's always bothered me about the credits is why they never stick to one font/typeface. It's a bit of a mess, that they're using Brush Script MT for the overlay credits (first few scenes at the start) and DomCasual BT for the closing credits... Sort it out!

Questions:

If TEN show repeats from the start of Neighbours in the afternoons, when have they got up to with repeats? Who is in it and what has happened?

Did they show the series RIGHT from the beginning? Or did they start showing it from about 6 months in? (which is when TEN picked the series up from 7 Network, who cancelled it)

What companies sponsor neighbours in Australia? Is it the same across the network or does each station add its own sponsors?

What format are the sponsorship captions? Are they in a Neighbours-esque style to match the credits? Or is there a tandard sponsorship caption for the whole network?

Wow they are fantastic Conrad - anymore bits like that e.g. Opening Credits etc?

Is it just me, but when you see the stills at the end in the credits of Lyn and Steph doesn't Lyn look like she's going to throw up when she sees the cake Steph made. She looks at it with complete disgust! It's a really odd screen shot and it's more obvious when you see the extended credits. Has anyone else noticed that?

Ta! - I didn't make them by the way! The titles are the same as over here, but if you want, here they are anyway...
