Why Are All of Todays Anchors Wearing Red

I don't know what's going on, but I'm getting concerned that there is too much red on the news today. Are they trying to tell us something? Let's have 18 pages of speculation. Perhaps an insider could shed some light on what's going on.

So far, I have noted:

Maryam Moshiri / Kay Burley / Nazzanine someone or other at Sky Weather / Colette Hume / Laura Tobin.

All bedecked in bright red!

Marayam Moshiri has also opted for red lipstick.

Insiders, please???

Edit: maybe they have a special "Claus" in their contracts?

Right. Something is going on. The Queen is now wearing bright red for her speech.

Susanna Ried on BBC Breakfast is wearing Blue!

It's a well known fact that she's colour blind, Pete.

Darren Bett is wearing a red jumper with a Christmas pudding motif.

He's changed into a red jumper with a snowflake motif because he "felt like such a pudding" in the other one.
