Channel 4 have had to change their afternoon film today. Not sure why?
Online TV guides say it's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow followed by Hocus Pocus . Both are pretty inoffensive movies. Were one or both of those not originally scheduled?

Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow replaced Three Men And A Baby I think.

Please give us some clues. Which film are you talking about? Do you know which film was scheduled and what replaced it?

I seem to remember that Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow replaced Three Men And A Baby.

Looks like 'Nigel Slater's Simple Suppers' have just gone on to Google and found the Wikipedia svg version of the BBC logo - complete with incorrectly aligned 'C'!

I guess you didn't see the previous post, where Paul already answered your question in response to my comment. I can't see what's so offensive about Three Men and a Baby either. No idea why they changed the schedule.

I see what you mean. Some helpful soul tried to fix it two years ago, but it wasn't broken. I just reverted it to a correct version, let's see if it sticks.

No I didn't see the previous post for some reason. I'm still not sure why someone would wait to be asked for further details before posting them though.

Anyway, according to IMDB the film contains Several uses of "****" and baby poop. It sounds totally unsuitable. No one wants to see that.

I'm not overly familiar with the film, but maybe there is a substantial sub-plot involving someone who has recently died, like Prince Philip.

Of course, it might just be a rights issue. Maybe Channel 4 didn't have rights to this film after all.

Although C4 would probably wait for him to actually die if that was the case.

I suspect it's nothing more than a rights issue.

"more or less the same thing", according to the CA.

Has anyone heard the odd announcements for the Simpsons all this week? They seem to have been referring to it as everything other than its real name.

Yes, "Now on Channel 4, It's the cheese and onion" is what I heard. I thought I was missing a joke somewhere. I didn't realise they were doing it all week.
