Wouldn't it be fantastic if the TV Forum calendar showed any events that were happening that day. For example, something was in the calendar for today, I think. Something to do with digital switchover probably. Here we are with 4 hours of the day still left and the calendar item doesn't show. I would put an argument forward that the calendar should show all events for that month, even those that have already happened but showing events from today would be a good start.

A good idea. The new homepage actually has a scroller underneath which loops over the next few days' events so you can see without having to hover your mouse over a particular day but I'll make sure it includes any from that day.

There is a new homepage?

Well it's relative, the new homepage for this version of TVF. We swapped to custom software written by Asa a little while back and the design was tweaked at the time.

I am aware of the recent history of TV Forum. Am I right in thinking the homepage that Asa speaks of, that "has a scroller underneath which loops over the next few days' events so you can see without having to hover your mouse over a particular day" is a new homepage that the likes of me can't see yet?

Or anyone! It's sat on my PC like a poor, unloved page. I really hope to push though with it before years end. All three main pages (home, forums, topics) have had a redesign, there's much better searching in place and the return of over 2000 topics from around August 2001 - April 2002.

Anyone else finding TV Forum slow to access pages? Takes an age for the page to appear, then loads fine on my 30mb cable broadband.

Painfully slow at the moment. Seems there are network connectivity issues, hopefully resolved soon.

Getting this on all posting pages, and other pages, like the homepage... Has only just began appearing...

I've noticed a few people commenting about this site redirecting to You Tube, I think there is a bug somewhere.

It happens when someone uses the YouTube tags and puts the whole YouTube link URL in them instead of just the video ID. This thread is doing it at the moment.
