Film 24 closes and Sony TV launches.

So, Film24 closed down at 6am this morning (and not later in the week as I posted on the tvforum calendar, sorry about that). There was no fan fair, it just played an ident and someone or something instantly switched the feed to the Sony promo that is currently running on the channel now. The Sky EPG (157) was updated at some today to SONY TV. SONY TV +1 is on Sky 190 too. This was previously one of the Open Access channels.

Which begs the question why did you post this in the first place if you've already admitted its not worth looking at?

Although I like the idea of a fan fair, I'd be worried it would be full of Tumbly Wumblys.

I just checked. Yes, it is only 10 seconds long.

That is all it needs. The video shows the context (the end of an advert before the ident), you see the close down (the ident) and you see what happened afterwards (a promo for Sony which involves someone falling over).

Sony TV looks alright actually.

thanks, had a simlar issue with posted vidoes on here before where they only play for ten seconds so thought it was playing up again

Just set up a recording to catch Hustle series 1 from Monday and there is no Series Link data, I hope they sort this out.

Annoying they are not supplying any listings to DigiGuide (or Radio Times so I can grab them and import)
