Ex Meridian Presenter and Reporter Carolyn Sim has now filed two reports for London Tonight. Yesterday's one was the top story and she was life last week regarding West Ham

Seems to be a few problems with SET on DSAT tonight. I wonder if they will abandon it and go over to BBC London instead.

That's a curious effect... wonder how they've managed that one? The cutting to black then fading back in is quite a nice effect.

Looks like they've just abandoned it and gone back to London on the sustaining feed.

As predicted, we have just gone back to London. They mentioned the problem on air but they opted back mid-report. They probably could have done it cleaner. I guess Freeview has opted back too? What about cable or analogue? Did they have the problem? Did they opt back?

They just opted back for the end of the show but didn't mention the problems again. Lets see what happens at 8pm.

Ah well it gave me the chance to see the god like journalist talents of Alice Bhandukhravi and her story on a conga on skates record. She is a genius. Cool

I see it's 'People's Millions' season again on Meridian with Sangeeta getting all over-excited as per usual. It was even the main story on the 'after Goldenballs' trailer.

This People Millions things is always on. Sick to death of it. Its fair enough they are doing it, but its getting way too much coverage.

Congratulations to Phil Hornby, someone told me he has just celebrated 25 years at Meridian/TVS etc...apparently he has presented more programmes there than anyone else apart from Dinenage. Hornby must be in the top few across the whole of ITV. And he manages to be quite funny and quite clever at the same time!
