Lost track of the number of ITN references this evening. Sangeeta and Fred spoke to John Suchet ahead of tonight's special Moon Landing news programme, asking him about his memories. He spoke of how ITN trounced the Beeb in the ratings thanks to the editor's inspired move of captioning what NASA and the astronauts were saying, instead of just talking in the studio and how the coverage was the making of ITN. Very interesting couple of minutes, shame ITV Local isn't around.
Tomorrow Fred interviews Patrick Moore on his memories of the night.

Also saw the moon landings report on Meridian earlier. Sangeeta is still annoying.. moon or no moon - although the John Suchet interview was interesting.
Fred and her still don't gel that well. I always think Fred is pretending to banter with her and then there's Perky Parkin..don't get me started.

I was just being daft again, actually where's Philipa Drew these days not that I have watched for months now is she still about she was quite nice I thought...
