..what the hell is this???

I don't know if this is being broadcast locally or nationally but alot of adverts have been aired on Century Radio in North West. The advert begins with the likes of Chris Tarrant, Roy Walker and David Cameron saying "I'll be watching", before a voice explains how 9:17 on Sunday Night will be the "two most important minutes you will ever watch" or something like that, before saying "Watch Your Own Heart Attack" on ITV1.

I checked the EPG and it displays Midsomer Murders.

Is this some pathetic advertising campaign or have I missed something?

Have you ever heard of Google?

To be honest, I searched Google not long after I posted this. I'm still puzzled how we will be watching our "own heart attack" and how it will be the most important two minutes of our lives...

It's a British Heart Foundation campaign.

I'm Connor Sephton, and I'll be watching. Laughing

It's a campaign to raise awareness of the real symptoms of a heart attack. Apparently we're all too thick to realize it doesn't happen like on TV and in Film so we're about to be lectured.

I've got better things to do then watch ITV at 9:17 on a Sunday, it's called sleep!

Don't worry - illness is flexible, I am sure your organ will be more than happy to incorporate the heart attack in to your sleeping pattern.

Noticed this advertised on our local radio here in Wales too.

It would have been advertised on nearly all local radio stations as IRN are running the advert.

I thought advertising wasn't allowed within/directly after the news on the radio? I would find this a little suspect too considering IRN are running the ad.
