Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but have the BBC started using a green rather than blue screen in the weather studio? I just keep seeing reflections of green on the presenters' faces.

Exactly! The BBC have always used a blue screen though - has this now changed?

The trouble is when they had the blue screen it used to reflect all around the presenters. I personally since they have used the green screen it has had far less reflection.

I've seen hints of green around presenters lately.

I could have sworn that the BBC have been using a green screen for the weather for the last two or more years.

Suprised no one's noted Helen Willetts is 'up the duff' again!

Isn't Laura Tobin cute?

Her feller (if she has one?) is one lucky *******!

Weather forecasters' outfits used to be fun at BBC Leeds when they were at Woodhouse Lane. The screen in the main studio was green, but the one in the presentation studio which was fed to Hull for the sub-opt forecasts was blue. So clothing had to omit both colours as broadcasts from both studios happened in quick succession.

Could that be because one of them always appears to be.

Have the BBC decided to down light the presenter on the forecasts now? No matter what time of day the forecaster seems to be less prominent now.

I've also noticed some dodgy lighting lately, and the presenters suffering a bit of a green tinge around the edges. Have they moved to a temporary studio or something? It's looked really quite poor on occasions.

I think they've moved one of the lights - if you look carefully you can sometimes see a fuzzy patch near the top of the screen.

I noticed that alot as well. The weather in N6 is diabolical as well. If you had a cheap TV, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the cloudy and non-cloudy areas. It's terrible.
