SHOOTING Stars is to stage a dramatic comeback - five years after its last dramatic comeback.
The BBC show, popular with drunken students everywhere, is being lined up for a return later this year.
Hosts Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are keen as mustard and are currently trying to persuade team captain Ulrika Jonsson to return.
And if Ulrika answers correctly we will hear the word "Eranu" (if she's not too busy dealing with her sex addiction, that is).
Vic, real name Jim Moir, tells us: "We've had a meeting with the BBC about Shooting Stars coming back and it's looking very hopeful. We'll have to see if Ulrika is up for it. I've been waiting to get back together with Bob and do new material."
But is the BBC really going to bring back the show? Truly?
Vic laughs: "Well, I'm a confident person so I'd say there's a 90 per cent probability."
If we hear the word "Uvavu" because Ulrika says no (which, let's face it, is unlikely) there's always the possibility of getting his wife Nancy involved instead. Last time around she had a bit part on the show, but it caused tension on set so he had her cut out at the last minute. Ouch!
So will there be a role for Nancy? "We'll have to see," Vic admits.
First launched in 1995, the show lasted for two years before being brought back in a blaze of glory in 2002 for a couple more runs.
Now, 12 years after it started, it's time to chuckle again at the "dove from above" and our Graham from Blind Date. Maybe even George Dawes will put in an appearance (although Matt Lucas is a bit more famous these days).
Altogether now - we really wanna see those fingers!
