I really like the font actually

The logo, design and layout is all really good, looks nice in lower case - I'd like to see TVF like your design after the relaunch. The only thing is the N24 tonight image

5/5, keep it up!

A few web safe fonts (they're called web-safe because the majority of users can see them, not because all of them can):

Arial (Mac equivalent Helvetica)
Times New Roman
Verdana
Georgia
Comic Sans
Trebuchet
Courier

However, a lot of the text on your homepage can be saved as images, only the username details should be in text format.

Yes, everything on that homepage could be saved as images, but would take up more bandwidth, more loading time and wouldn't be very accessable. It would be possible to have a nicer font and then have one of those fonts and sans-serif as a fallback in CSS, but it would be very inconsistant, so not recommended.

No font is available on ALL computers, the best you can do for Arial is really

Arial -> Helvecta -> Sans-Serif

Sans-Serif is the group of fonts like Arial so should give a similiar effect on all OS's with it Smile

Wrong, theres websafe fonts, but there's only like six of them.

Actually, since there's been few recently we should do a BBC-Refresh like competition?

Lol, to be honest I like the forum as it is, but it could be a bit of fun

I agree. The layout and such needs a bit of update and refresh, but the design itself is fine, just could do with a few tweeks.

Maybe the homepage itself could do with a bit of a refresh, but the rest of the site is great, and doesn't need touching. However, it ain't worth, as hopefully we will get new software (before 2008).
